The ART OF EIGHT LIMBS.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

Muay Thai — known as the art of eight limbs — uses fists, elbows, knees, and kicks as weapons, along with clinch control to set up strikes and off-balance opponents.  At ELEV8 you'll build striking combinations, defensive technique, timing, distance management, and the conditioning to make it all work under pressure. Whether you're training for fitness, self-defence, or competition, Muay Thai will change the way you move.

The most complete striking system

No other striking art uses as many weapons. Punches, elbows, knees, kicks, and clinch — you'll learn to use all of them and defend against all of them.

Conditioning that goes beyond fitness

Muay Thai builds functional, athletic, resilient fitness. Your cardio, power, and flexibility will improve in ways that carry into everything else you do.

Practical for MMA and self-defence

Muay Thai is the striking foundation of modern MMA. If you're building a complete game, or just want striking that works in the real world, this is where you start.

THINGS PEOPLE USUALLY ASK.

FAQS

  • No. We teach Muay Thai from the ground up. Your first session will cover the fundamental stance, movement, and basic strikes — everything you need to feel like you're actually learning something.

  • Comfortable exercise clothing and water. Once you're training regularly you'll want hand wraps, gloves, shin guards, and a mouthguard — we can advise on gear once you've had your trial.

  • Extremely. A full Muay Thai session uses your entire body — upper body striking, lower body kicks, core for rotation, and cardio throughout. It's one of the highest-calorie training methods you can do, and you won't be watching the clock.

  • Yes — once you've built solid fundamentals. We introduce sparring gradually and in a controlled environment. Your safety and your training partners' safety is always the priority.
